On a cold Wednesday night in the heart of the Lower East Side, Greatest Hits Gallery hosted glassware company 1percent, Danish rolling company, and Marijuana advocate, TV star, and DWTS contestant Tommy Chong joined forces. The result was a memorable evening which featured one of kind art (a fully functional guitar glass piece stole the show), a Rolling session led by Mr, Chong, and tons grinders, papers and smoking essentials courtesy of 1percet and Futurola.
The pop up shop on Ludlow features high end functional glassware, created by a variety of artist from Virginia to Vermont, compiled together as the “Nor’Easter collection”. The shop features 1 on 1 rolling sessions (available by scheduling online here), as well as the glassware on display and available for purchase until January 31st. Chong took in the art, played with lightsabers and signed memorabilia as fans eagerly flocked for a chance to see their idol. Among they best items were a collectors edition Cheech and Chong record, and souvenir napkin imprinted with with and image of Cheech and Chong. During last nights private event guest enjoyed photobooths, and an open bar while they mingled and viewed art.
