As we head in to the final stretch of 2o15, MATTE, the company responsible for some of NYC’s most exclusive and most anticipated events ( Full Moon Fest, A Party by Kitsune) has another must attend party  on November 14th.  The night will feature six visual artist each taking over a room in a Brooklyn warehouse and performances from NYC’s hottest Artist.

MATTE Projects presents a one-night, multidimensional collaborative music, design, and art affair – all seen through the prism and aesthetic of BLACK.

 Founded in 2013, BLACK returns to New York City in one of Brooklyn’s large, raw warehouse spaces. We are excited to announce the music lineup: the Parisian dark prince Gesaffelstein, euphoric electronic mastermind Jon Hopkins, mysterious M.I.A. collaborator GENER8ION, and Kanye West’s creative director FLAT WHITE.
This embrace of color will be broken up into six rooms, sensory and interactive vignettes created by six visual artists – Cara StrickerJesper JustNate BrownToki SeriesVirgil Abloh and Zach Walker. Downstairs will also feature exclusive DJ sets by Berlin up and comer Tummetott and LA’s nightlife princess Masha
We are excited to partner with educational nonprofit React To Film, art publication Art Report and Perrier to present BLACKA portion of the proceeds from BLACK will benefit React To Film’s middle and high school program and college action network. Be use to stop by the Perrier bar in the basement of BLACK.
